        "content": "<p>The Audit Board of Indonesia (BPK) and the National Audit Office of\nTanzania (NAOT) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as a\nstrategic step to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of\npublic sector auditing. The signing was carried out by BPK Chair Isma\nYatun and Tanzania\u2019s Controller and Auditor General (CAG) Charles Edward\nKichere at the Tanzanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs office in Dar es\nSalaam. \u201cThis momentum reflects a sustained commitment and the growing\npartnership between the two parties. The signing of this MoU is an\nimportant milestone in strengthening the cooperative relationship that\nhas been built over recent years,\u201d Isma Yatun said in an official\nstatement in Jakarta on Tuesday. The signing ceremony was witnessed by\nthe Indonesian Ambassador to Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, and the East\nAfrican Community, Tri Yogo Jatmiko, and representatives from the\nTanzanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Through this MoU, the two\ninstitutions establish a comprehensive cooperation framework to\nencourage the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and best practices, as\nwell as to support capacity building and professional development while\nupholding international standards and principles of good governance.\nCooperation between BPK and NAOT has been strengthening since 2019 and\nhas developed through various activities, including bilateral meetings,\nNAOT\u2019s participation in BPK\u2019s international training programme in 2024,\nand a visit by the CAG of Tanzania to BPK in 2025. \u201cThis series of\ncollaborations has become an important foundation for the implementation\nof the MoU signing,\u201d she said. Going forward, both institutions are\ncommitted to deepening collaboration to enhance the public sector audit\ncapacity of both bodies, in line with BPK\u2019s role as a member of the\nUnited Nations Board of Auditors (UN BoA) for the 2026\u20132030 period, host\nof the International Congress of Supreme Audit Institutions (INCOSAI) in\n2028, and Chair of the International Organization of Supreme Audit\nInstitutions (INTOSAI) for the 2028\u20132031 period.<\/p>",
