        "content": "<p>BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and Brawijaya University have officially signed\na Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Partnership Agreement (PKS) to\nstrengthen collaboration in implementing labour social security within\nthe university\u2019s ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU was signed by BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Director General Syaiful\nHidayat and Brawijaya University Rector Widodo on Friday, 29 June at the\nuniversity\u2019s rectorate building.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement includes provisions ensuring that intern and Community\nService (KKN) students receive protection against workplace accidents\n(JKK) and death risks (JKM) during academic and community service\nactivities, while university staff suffering work-related injuries or\noccupational diseases will be served through the Work Accident Service\nCentre (PLKK).<\/p>\n<p>BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Director General Saiful Hidayat stated that\ncollaboration with universities is a crucial step in building early\nawareness and a culture of labour social security protection, expressing\nhope that this comprehensive partnership with Brawijaya University will\nbe replicated by other institutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough this synergy, we aim for optimal implementation of labour\nsocial security programmes, not only for campus educators and workers\nbut also for students undertaking internships or KKN. This collaboration\nis expected to serve as a model for partnerships between universities\nand state institutions in creating an adaptive employment ecosystem\nwhile strengthening social security literacy among academics and the\nyouth,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the MoU signing, a PKS was also signed between BPJS\nKetenagakerjaan\u2019s Membership Director Agung Nugroho, Brawijaya\nUniversity\u2019s Business Management Director Anthon Efani, and Vice Rector\nMuchamad Ali Safa\u2019at to optimise social security programme protection\nfor staff and students.<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration on social security education, internships, and\neducation was also established between BPJS Ketenagakerjaan\u2019s Director\nof Human Capital and General Affairs Harjono Siswanto and Academic Vice\nRector Imam Santoso. Furthermore, a PKS was signed between BPJS\nKetenagakerjaan\u2019s Strategic Planning and IT Director Ihsanudin and\nResearch and Innovation Vice Rector Ludigdo regarding the development of\nArtificial Intelligence and Data Analytics for improving labour social\nsecurity programmes, as well as research and dissemination of social\nsecurity initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>From the university\u2019s perspective, all these collaborations embody\nthe implementation of the tridharma of higher education, which includes\nteaching, research, and community service.<\/p>\n<p>Brawijaya University Rector Widodo welcomed the strategic partnership\nwith BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, stating that collaboration between the\neducation sector and social security providers can be strengthened to\ncreate superior, innovative, and protected human resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe fully support and appreciate this strategic collaboration with\nBPJS Ketenagakerjaan. This partnership is a concrete step to strengthen\nthe tridharma of higher education, particularly through education,\nresearch, innovation, and enhancing human resources adaptable to\nworkplace needs and technological advancements.
