        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) \u2013 BPJS Kesehatan has stressed that information\ncirculating on social media about the abolition of BPJS Kesehatan is\nfalse, and that the National Health Insurance (JKN) programme continues\nto operate under a strong legal framework as part of the national social\nsecurity system.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJKN is a state programme organised under a mandate set out in law.\nInformation circulating on social media about BPJS Kesehatan being\nabolished is false. The JKN programme continues to operate, and our\nfocus is on improving services,\u201d BPJS Kesehatan Head of Public Relations\nRizzky Anugerah said in Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>He said BPJS Kesehatan is a public legal entity established under Law\nNo.\u00a024 of 2011 on Social Security Administering Bodies. The national\nhealth insurance system, meanwhile, is based on Law No.\u00a040 of 2004 on\nthe National Social Security System.<\/p>\n<p>Rizzky explained that BPJS Kesehatan is part of the state\u2019s efforts\nto ensure that the public receives social protection and security,\nincluding access to basic healthcare.<\/p>\n<p>He said the JKN programme was not based on a temporary policy, but\nformed part of the national social security system governed by\nlegislation. The public therefore need not worry or be swayed by\nunverified reports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe urge all participants to remain calm, not to believe information\nwhose source is unclear, and to use BPJS Kesehatan\u2019s official channels\nif they need further information,\u201d Rizzky said.<\/p>\n<p>Rizzky stressed that services for JKN participants continue as\nusual.<\/p>\n<p>Participants can continue to access healthcare in accordance with\napplicable rules. The agency also urged all participants to check that\ntheir membership is active through the Mobile JKN application or its\nWhatsApp administrative service, PANDAWA, on 08118165165.<\/p>",
