        "content": "<p>Surabaya - BPJS Kesehatan President Director Prihati Pujowaskito has\ndispatched the Ksatria Airlangga Hospital Ship (RSKKA) to the island\nregions of Sumenep, Madura. \u201cIn the BPJS Kesehatan service process, we\nstrive to equalise access across all regions,\u201d Prihati stated at Tanjung\nPerak, Surabaya, on Sunday. He explained that the ship would provide\nhealthcare to residents in the Sumenep archipelago, including Raas\nIsland, Karamian Island, and Masalembu Island, which are very remote and\nrarely visited by health services. \u201cIf an area does not yet have a\nhealth facility that meets the requirements, BPJS Kesehatan can provide\ncompensation to organise mobile services provided there is a letter from\nthe local government,\u201d he said. Prihati explained that this\ncollaborative programme is part of the implementation of JKN 3T, which\nis now a primary focus for BPJS Kesehatan to expand the reach of the\nNational Health Insurance in frontier, remote, and underdeveloped\nregions. Director of Ksatria Airlangga Hospital, Dr Agus Harianto, said\nthe programme runs from 14 to 24 July 2026 across several island areas.\n\u201cOur target is to prepare for a minimum of 100 patients per island. But\nthe total number of patients by the end of the programme usually reaches\nthousands,\u201d he said. He explained that the high patient numbers are\ninfluenced by the needs of residents on the destination islands as well\nas the arrival of residents from surrounding islands who come alongside\nthe ship\u2019s berthing location. \u201cThe medical team targets an average of\nfive major operations per day on each island, while minor operations can\nbe performed in greater numbers according to need and referrals from\nlocal health facilities,\u201d he stated.<\/p>",
