Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Halal Product Assurance Organising Agency\n(BPJPH) continues to strengthen the quality of its human resources (HR)\nthrough a competency development approach based on organisational needs\nto enhance the effectiveness of Halal Product Assurance (JPH)\nservices.<\/p>\n
BPJPH Head Ahmad Haikal Hasan, in his statement in Jakarta on\nTuesday, emphasised that HR strengthening is also a key factor in\nimplementing JPH services, following the mandatory halal certification\nobligation this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe success of mandatory halal implementation is not only determined\nby regulations but also heavily depends on the readiness of the HR\nexecuting it,\u201d said Haikal.<\/p>\n
\u201cTherefore, competency development must truly be needs-based, on\ntarget, and directly impact service performance,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
As part of these steps, BPJPH has held the Competency Development\nNeeds Analysis Training (AKPK) for civil servants (ASN) within its\nenvironment.<\/p>\n
This activity, organised by the BPJPH Human Resource Development\nCentre (PPSDM), was attended by employees designated as Persons in\nCharge (PIC) in each work unit, both at the central and regional levels,\nin a hybrid format at the beginning of this week.<\/p>\n
The activity is intended to ensure equitable understanding and\nstrengthen coordination between work units.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is important for every ASN to continuously improve their\ncompetencies. When competencies are higher, it means we value\nourselves,\u201d said Haikal.<\/p>\n
He hopes that AKPK can become an effective instrument in identifying\nemployee competency gaps, so that the development programmes formulated\nare more targeted and impactful on organisational performance.<\/p>\n
In addition, the AKPK results also serve as the basis for\nstrengthening talent management within BPJPH.<\/p>\n
Head of PPSDM BPJPH Indrayani added that BPJPH faces increasingly\ncomplex challenges, thus requiring structured and efficient HR\ndevelopment planning.<\/p>\n
\u201cThrough AKPK, competency needs can be mapped systematically. Thus,\nHR development programmes can be formulated more directed and not\ngeneral in nature,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
This competency strengthening is also expected to be an important\npart in forming superior HR or Halal Experts who will support the\nstrengthening of the national halal ecosystem.<\/p>\n
Through this training, continued Indrayani, BPJPH seeks to strengthen\nadaptive, professional, and competitive HR development steps through a\nneeds-based organisational approach.<\/p>\n
