        "content": "<p>The Bali Regional Development Bank (BPD Bali) has disbursed IDR 13.51\ntrillion in productive credit to micro, small, and medium enterprise\n(MSME) debtors, representing 52.71 per cent of its total lending of IDR\n25.63 trillion as of May 2026. BPD Bali President Director I Nyoman\nSudharma stated on Wednesday in Denpasar that MSME credit realisation\ngrew by 12.55 per cent compared to the same period in 2025. The regional\ngovernment-owned bank\u2019s lending is predominantly directed towards\nstrengthening MSME performance, whilst total credit distribution also\ngrew by 8.46 per cent despite fluctuating business conditions due to\nglobal dynamics. The quality of debtors receiving loans remains sound,\nwith the non-performing loan ratio at a low 0.96 per cent as of May\n2026. Amidst the global geopolitical situation, the bank recorded\npositive performance over the first five months of 2026, with assets\ngrowing 8.19 per cent to IDR 43.12 trillion and customer deposits rising\n5.68 per cent to IDR 35.40 trillion. The bank posted a profit of IDR 670\nbillion, an increase of 16.50 per cent compared to the same position in\n2025. This performance was supported by shareholders comprising regional\ngovernments in Bali, which injected capital of IDR 746 billion in 2026,\nbringing total paid-up capital to IDR 3.63 trillion and core capital to\nIDR 5.98 trillion as of May. The bank projects it will move up a tier to\nBank Group Based on Core Capital (KBMI) 2, with core capital expected to\nexceed IDR 6 trillion in 2026.<\/p>",
