        "content": "<p>Banda Aceh (ANTARA) - The Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency\n(BP3MI) in Aceh Province has stated that an Indonesian citizen from\nAceh, Putri Hensy Aprilda (22), who was allegedly murdered in Malaysia,\nwas not officially registered as a migrant worker from Indonesia. \u201cIt is\nconfirmed that the deceased worked in Malaysia through unofficial or\nnon-procedural channels,\u201d said Head of BP3MI Aceh Siti Rolijah when\ncontacted in Banda Aceh on Tuesday. A migrant worker from Alur Manis\nvillage, Aceh Tamiang Regency, named Putri Hensy Aprilda (22), along\nwith her infant child, were reported dead in early June 2026, suspected\nvictims of murder in Sepang, Selangor, Malaysia. Siti said the\nconfirmation that the deceased worked non-procedurally in Malaysia came\nafter a data check on the Indonesian worker system. \u201cBP3MI Aceh checked\nthe deceased\u2019s data in the Computerised System for the Protection of\nIndonesian Migrant Workers application and her data was not found,\u201d she\nsaid. Siti added that BP3MI Aceh, through its P4MI Aceh Tamiang team\ntogether with the Aceh Tamiang Manpower and Transmigration Office, had\nalso visited the victim\u2019s family. Based on the information obtained, the\nfamily admitted they had not met or been in contact with the deceased\nfor almost two years. In fact, all this time the family believed the\nvictim worked in Aceh. \u201cThe family had known that the deceased worked in\nLangsa (Aceh),\u201d she said. However, the cause of the violence against the\nvictim is still under investigation by the Malaysian police and cannot\nbe confirmed until an official notification is received from the\nIndonesian representative. \u201cThe case is currently being handled by the\nMalaysian Police and the Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur,\u201d she said.\nSiti added that the victim\u2019s body is scheduled to be repatriated to Aceh\non Wednesday (24\/6).
