        "content": "<p>Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the Supervisory Board for State-Owned\nEnterprises (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria stated that the manufacturing\nindustry, natural resource downstreaming programmes, infrastructure\ndevelopment, and the empowerment of micro, small, and medium enterprises\n(MSMEs) are priority sectors for financing by banks within the\nAssociation of State-Owned Banks (Himbara).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinancing support must continue to be directed towards productive\nsectors that are capable of creating jobs, enhancing competitiveness,\nand delivering tangible benefits to the community,\u201d Dony said in an\nofficial statement confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Dony also conveyed that other sectors with a high multiplier effect\non the national economy are also priority sectors in the financing focus\nof Himbara banks.<\/p>\n<p>The determination of these priorities is part of the government\u2019s\nstrategic measures to strengthen the banking sector\u2019s role in supporting\nthe national development and economic growth agenda.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, Dony stressed that the positive performance\nconsistently demonstrated by Himbara banks serves as an important\nfoundation for the stability of the financial system as well as a driver\nof national economic activity.<\/p>\n<p>State-owned banks are expected to continue increasing their\ncontribution through the distribution of productive, inclusive financing\noriented towards creating added value for the economy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cState-owned banks have a strategic role in driving economic growth,\u201d\nsaid Dony.<\/p>\n<p>BP BUMN, together with Danantara and the Himbara leadership, is\ncommitted to ensuring that state-owned banks continue to grow in a\nhealthy, professional, and sustainable manner.<\/p>\n<p>Strong synergy between shareholders, the board of commissioners, and\nmanagement is expected to strengthen the banking intermediation function\nwhile supporting the acceleration of national development targets.<\/p>",
