Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara Indonesia\nDony Oskaria, together with Danantara Asset Management (DAM), is\ntargeting a national transport transformation to improve services for\nthe public.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is no longer the era for the public to receive poor service.\nTherefore, all processes need to be continuously evaluated,\u201d Dony said\nin an official statement confirmed by ANTARA from Jakarta on\nThursday.<\/p>\n
In his meeting, Dony discussed the formulation of a national\nconnectivity map. The mapping is directed at obtaining a complete\npicture of assets, nodes, routes, services, and intermodal connections\nmanaged by state-owned enterprises.<\/p>\n
This step is also part of efforts to identify various missing links,\nbottlenecks, and potential network overlaps that may affect the\neffectiveness of national connectivity.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, Danantara will carry out data mapping and processing,\ninitial analysis, consultation and validation, as well as the\nformulation of logistics corridors and pilot projects. This connectivity\nmap is expected to serve as a basis for determining more integrated\ntransport and logistics development steps.<\/p>\n
Dony stressed that the transformation of the transport sector cannot\nbe viewed solely from a business perspective, but must also be genuinely\nfelt by the public through improved service quality.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf this transformation is not felt, then it is pointless, merely a\nconcept on paper,\u201d Dony said.<\/p>\n
Similar emphasis was also placed on the importance of improving user\nexperience in transport services.<\/p>\n
He asserted that every stage of the journey must be designed\ncomprehensively to provide a better experience for the public, from\nbefore departure, during the journey, to arrival at the destination.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe must ensure that from before departure, for example when boarding\na ship, what experience we want to build. Then during the journey, what\nkind of service passengers should feel. And when arriving at the\ndestination, what needs to be ensured so that the experience remains\npositive and memorable,\u201d Dony said.<\/p>\n
Through integrated mapping and strengthened service quality,\nintermodal connectivity is expected not only to strengthen the transport\nand logistics networks of state-owned enterprises, but also to provide\nmore tangible benefits for the public.<\/p>\n
