        "content": "<p>A 13-year-old boy swept away by waves at Ampenan Beach in Mataram,\nWest Nusa Tenggara (NTB), was found dead this morning. The victim,\nPietro Alesandro Seda, was discovered by residents in the Pantai Malbau\narea of Karang Buyuk, Ampenan Selatan.<\/p>\n<p>Ampenan District Police Chief AKP Muhammad Ryanto stated on Saturday\n(30 May 2026) that the found body was the same child reported missing\nthe previous day at Pantai Skip. Ryanto explained that a passerby\ninitially spotted an object floating in the sea, which they thought was\na coconut shell. Upon closer inspection, the object turned out to be the\nbody of a young boy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe residents were shocked to discover that the floating object was\nthe body of a child previously reported missing after being dragged by\nthe waves,\u201d Ryanto added. \u201cThe victim\u2019s body has been taken to\nBhayangkara Hospital for further examination.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Previously, Pietro Alesandro Seda was reported to have been swept\naway at Pantai Skip on Friday (29 May). He was swimming with eight\nfriends when large waves suddenly surged, dragging them into the sea.\nAll of Pietro\u2019s friends managed to reach the shore safely.<\/p>\n<p>In another incident, a nine-year-old girl named Anindita Mantika\nMuslim was also swept away while playing near the shoreline at Pantai\nKarang Buyuk in Mataram on Friday. Like Pietro, large waves unexpectedly\ncarried her out to sea.<\/p>",
