Boy arrested for sexual assault<\/p>\n
JAKARTA (JP): Truck drivers could help contribute their ideas
\nto combat AIDS by painting slogans on their trucks to remind
\nthemselves and others of the deadly virus, local AIDS Day
\norganizers said yesterday.<\/p>\n
This has been going on since Nov. 16 in Bekasi as part of the
\nInternational AIDS Day (Dec. 1) activities. They said this
\nactivity would run until Dec.13.<\/p>\n
A committee spokesman said truck drivers, especially those who
\ntraveled long distances through several towns, were prone to
\ncontracting HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) which causes
\nAcquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome.<\/p>\n
\"A recent survey shows many truck drivers traveling long-
\ndistance routes often have high-risk sex with prostitutes
\noffering their services in dimly lit street food stalls which
\ndouble as illegal brothels. Such stalls can be found in abundance
\nalong highways on the North Jakarta coast,\" one of the organizers
\nsaid.<\/p>\n

\nDevelopment Foundation (YPKM) in cooperation with the National
\nFamily Program Coordinating Agency (BKKN), Levi Strauss & Co,
\nseveral non-governmental organizations, plus truck drivers and
