Bouraq airlines<\/p>\n

I have heard over the years many uncomplimentary things about
\nBouraq such that I felt it time to write and correct this. I have
\nnow traveled four times by Bouraq in the last three months, and
\nhave nothing but praise for the airline.<\/p>\n

Particularly I would mention two months ago my experience in
\nBatam. This was at the height of the haze\/smoke problem. The
\nplane was due out at 3:55 p.m. The airport had been closed in the
\nmorning because of haze; it was again closed at 3:30 p.m. because
\nof rain which flooded everywhere. It was re-opened at about 5
\np.m., but it was very hazy and getting dark. Garuda, Merpati and
\nSempati canceled all their flights, but good old Bouraq still
\nkept going. The plane duly landed, and we took off at about 8
\np.m. Never mind being late, we passengers were looked after in
\ndifficult circumstances.<\/p>\n

Apart from that, the flights have been right on time, the
\ncabin crew most courteous, and the snacks just as good as on
\nother airlines.<\/p>\n
