        "content": "<p>Bottlers warned over poor quality<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The government warned Saturday it would revoke<br>\nthe business license of companies producing packaged drinking<br>\nwater which fail to meet the national industrial standards.<\/p>\n<p>\"Out of the 172 companies producing package drinking water in<br>\nthe country, 85 have failed to meet the government's requirements<br>\non industrial standardization,\" Director General of Agro-based<br>\nIndustries Anang Lukmana said in a ceremony for the inauguration<br>\nof a water packaging plant in Sukabumi, West Java.<\/p>\n<p>Anang, as quoted by Antara, said that the government's strict<br>\nmeasure against producers of inferior packaged water is important<br>\nas it protects consumers and the interest of the country, which<br>\nalso exports the product.<\/p>\n<p>\"About 10 percent of the 85 companies have reportedly exported<br>\ntheir product,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>Anang said Indonesia's exports of packaged drinking water last<br>\nyear reached US$8.7 million.(riz)<\/p>",
