        "content": "<p>The Head of the National Border Management Agency (BNPP RI) and\nMinister of Home Affairs, Muhammad Tito Karnavian, has highlighted the\nimportance of strengthening communication with diplomatic partners in\nborder regions. Tito stated that cooperation between parties must be\ndirected towards resolving issues peacefully. Furthermore, such\ncooperation must provide tangible benefits to the communities of both\nnations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also discussed how to ensure that the relationship between\nIndonesia and neighbouring countries, particularly in border areas, can\ncontinue to be developed together for the benefit of the people in both\ncountries,\u201d Tito said during the Indonesia Border Partnership Coffee\nMorning in Jakarta (16\/9).<\/p>\n<p>Tito noted that the forum served as a momentum to further introduce\nthe functions and roles of the BNPP RI to friendly nations. The forum\nwas attended by several diplomatic representatives. He reported that\nrepresentatives from neighbouring countries welcomed the strengthening\nof partnerships across various sectors, including trade and culture.\nAccording to Tito, this positive response serves as capital for building\ncloser relationships in border regions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very pleased because all representatives of friendly nations\nwelcomed and were willing to strengthen partnership relations, whether\nin trade, culture, or other fields, for the mutual welfare of the people\nand the progress of countries in border areas,\u201d said Tito.<\/p>\n<p>The Ambassador of Timor-Leste, Roberto Sarmento de Oliveira Soares,\ndescribed the forum as a space for dialogue that strengthens\nneighbourhood relations. He stated that Timor-Leste is committed to\ncontinuing cooperation with Indonesia, including human resource\ndevelopment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is an extraordinary opportunity as Minister Tito Karnavian has\nfacilitated a warm, open, and very profound dialogue among neighbouring\ncountries,\u201d said Roberto.<\/p>\n<p>The Australian Border Force Adviser for Indonesia, Ian Kelly,\ndescribed the forum as an opportunity to fortify cooperation between the\ntwo nations. He assessed that the partnership between Indonesia and\nAustralia can continue to be developed, including to maintain regional\nstability and meet the needs of the community.<\/p>",
