The General Elections Commission (KPU) has been overwhelmed
\nlately not only by internal conflicts between political party
\nexecutives, but also by the many cases of legislative candidates
\nusing forged diplomas.<\/p>\n
Various circles describe the situation as a reflection of the
\nnation's low quality of education and at the same time the poor
\nethics of those signing up as would-be legislators or
\ncouncillors.<\/p>\n
Just imagine if such uneducated people and impostors were able
\nto pass the selection process and be elected as representatives.
\nHow would Indonesia have a strong government if its prospective
\nlegislators and national leaders failed to set good examples?<\/p>\n
Nevertheless, we should not be over pessimistic in facing the
\nunfavorable conditions. We are still convinced that far better
\ngroups and individuals can be found in the country.<\/p>\n
