Bogus lecturer<\/p>\n

Between the months of June and September 1995 our relatives
\nwere visited by a guest who looked smart and sympathetic and
\ncarried a shiny briefcase and drove different cars. He said that
\nhis name was Dr. H. Moch. Amin Hidayat, SE, and worked at
\nPadjadjaran University as a postgraduate lecturer. He also
\nclaimed to be a coordinator of Primajasa Bus in Garut, West Java,
\nand a member of ICMI (Association of Indonesian Moslem
\nIntellectuals) of West Java.<\/p>\n
My family was very impressed by his brilliant speech. He then
\noffered to help our unemployed members get a job in an attorney's
\noffice and in PT Primajasa. He also said that he had a sister
\nworking as head of the attorney's office in Surabaya, East Java
\nnamed Mrs. Hj. Mimi Barnama, SH.<\/p>\n
Convinced by his words, many of our relatives wrote
\napplication letters and prepared all the accompanying documents.
\nFor all this and for the administrative cost, including the cost
\nof uniforms, training, our relatives submitted Rp 3 million,
\nwhich was paid in installments. He promised that the letters of
\nappointment would be issued in October 1995.<\/p>\n
Day in and day out, my relatives did not get any news from the
\ngentleman. They checked his address only to find that it was a
\nfake address. Both Padjadjaran University and PT Primajasa knew
\nnothing about this man. Finally my relatives realized that they
\nhad been cheated. The man was about 45 years old, 155 centimeters
\ntall with bald head and had dark skin. Readers, be warned.<\/p>\n
