        "content": "<p>Bogor to increase tax revenue<\/p>\n<p>BOGOR: Mayor Diani Budiarto ordered officials at district and<br>\nsubdistrict levels to remind residents to pay their land and<br>\nproperty taxes by September so that the 100 percent tax<br>\ncollection target could be met.<\/p>\n<p>\"Officials have to keep reminding them to pay taxes while<br>\ngiving public services,\" he said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the head of the Bogor Revenue Agency, Bambang<br>\nGunawan, last year the municipality successfully collected over<br>\n95 percent of the targeted Rp 21 billion in land and property<br>\ntaxes.<\/p>\n<p>\"Our target this year is Rp 28 billion from 202,400 taxpayers<br>\nin six districts,\" he was quoted as saying by Antara.<\/p>\n<p>He expressed optimism of better performance this year, because<br>\n\"we have an online system that will ease the procedure for<br>\ntaxpayers\". -- JP<\/p>",
