Bogor to have ring road<\/p>\n
BOGOR: Toll road constructor PT Jasa Marga will start the
\nconstruction of a 11.2-kilometer ring road next year that will
\nconnect Baranangsiang-Sentul-Kedung Badak-Cilebut-Cibadak and
\nDarmaga subdistrict.<\/p>\n
Jasa Marga business division head Agung Purnomo said on Friday
\nthe construction would be done in four phases.<\/p>\n
"The first step is to construct a 3.8-kilometer road
\nconnecting Sentul and Kedung Badak," he told Tempo News Room.<\/p>\n
The first phase of the construction alone will cost Rp 224.3
\nbillion (US$26.4 million), while the toll fee proposed is Rp
\n2,000.<\/p>\n
Agung said a rough estimation of the total cost of the
\nconstruction would be about Rp 1 trillion.<\/p>\n
"We are still waiting for the project feasibility study," he
\nsaid.<\/p>\n
According to company spokesman Zuhdi Saragih, the proposal was
\nin the hands of the Bogor municipal office.<\/p>\n
"But the project has to wait because we're still working on
\nthe Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan toll road," he said. -- JP<\/p>",
