        "content": "<p>Bogor Regency (ANTARA) - The Bogor Regency Government, West Java, is\nprocessing sanctions for a part-time Contract Government Employee (PPPK)\nwith the initials AW, who was arrested by police in connection with a\nsuspected methamphetamine drug abuse case.<\/p>\n<p>Head of the Agency for Human Resources and Human Resource Development\n(BKPSDM) of Bogor Regency, Yunita Mustika Putri, in Cibinong, Friday,\nsaid that her office had sent a letter to the relevant department where\nAW worked to conduct an internal investigation in accordance with\napplicable regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have sent a letter to the head of the relevant organizational\nunit to process it in accordance with the applicable laws and\nregulations. The department will process it as the direct supervisor,\u201d\nsaid Yunita.<\/p>\n<p>She explained that the handling of the case refers to a number of\nprovisions of laws and regulations related to the discipline of state\ncivil servants.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Government Regulation Number 94 of 2021 concerning Civil\nServant Discipline states that drug abuse and involvement in criminal\nacts violate the obligation of ASN to maintain the honor, dignity and\nimage of the government.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, for PPPKs, the provisions of Government Regulation Number\n49 of 2018 concerning PPPK Management stipulate that the employment\nagreement can be terminated if the employee commits a serious\ndisciplinary violation or is convicted based on a court decision that\nhas permanent legal force.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also emphasize that the Regional Government is committed to\nimplementing the principle of \u2018zero tolerance\u2019 for drug abuse in the ASN\nand PPPK environment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Yunita said that AW\u2019s direct supervisor was asked to immediately\nsubmit recommendations for handling personnel if the person had been\ndesignated as a suspect by law enforcement officials.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIncluding a proposal for termination of the employment agreement if\nit meets the provisions of laws and regulations,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the Bogor Police uncovered a drug abuse case involving a\npart-time PPPK with the initials AW who worked in Klapanunggal District,\nBogor Regency.<\/p>\n<p>The Regent of Bogor, Rudy Susmanto, also requested that the case be\nhandled firmly as a warning to other officials and reaffirmed the\nregional government\u2019s commitment to creating a government environment\nthat is free from drugs.<\/p>",
