Bogor-N. Holland cooperation<\/p>\n
BOGOR, West Java (JP): The Bogor Regency and the North Holland
\nwater company signed a cooperation yesterday on water supply,
\nincluding water treatment.<\/p>\n
Bogor was represented by Regent Eddy Gunardi and Daslim Saibi,
\nthe regency director of the state-owned water company, while
\nE.G.E Vreedenburg and J.P.J Langrand represented North Holland.<\/p>\n
The signing ceremony took place at the Bogor city hall.<\/p>\n
Under the agreement, which will end February next year, the
\nNorth Holland water company will arrange training for the Bogor
\nwater company's staff on management, operation and maintenance.<\/p>\n
M. Basit, spokesman for the Bogor water company, said an
\nexchange of information was included in the deal.<\/p>\n
Bogor is striving to improve its services to the public. The
\nrehabilitation of a water treatment plant, which had a supply
\ncapacity of 400 liters per second is underway. The project is
\nscheduled for completion in September this year.<\/p>\n
Bogor can now supply 650 liters of water per second to
\nresidents. Zainal Arifin, the general affairs manager of the
\nBogor water company said; \"By September we can provide 1,050
