The National Nutrition Agency estimates that implementing the free nutritious meals (MBG) programme in Bogor Regency will cost Rp 1 trillion monthly, based on 1,000 nutrition fulfilment service units (SPPG) each requiring Rp 1 billion. Allocations include 70% for raw materials, 20% for operations like staff salaries, and 10% for repaying community investments in infrastructure, with over 27,000 SPPG already operational nationwide through public-private partnerships totalling Rp 540 trillion. The agency plans to establish Nutrition Fulfilment Service Offices (KPPG) led by senior civil servants to oversee planning, supervision, and reporting of the programme.

Head of the National Nutrition Agency, Dadan Hindayana, stated that
the budget required for the free nutritious meals (MBG) programme in
Bogor Regency reaches Rp 1 trillion per month. This figure is a
calculation from the projection of the number of nutrition fulfilment
service units (SPPG), which amounts to 1,000 units, with each MBG
kitchen unit requiring Rp 1 billion per month.

“This means that if one unit requires Rp 1 billion per month, the
funds that will enter and circulate in the MBG programme here will reach
Rp 1 trillion. That’s for one month, not one year,” said Dadan during
his speech at the inauguration of SPPG 03 Cijujung, Sukaraja, Bogor
Regency, on Wednesday, 15 April 2026.

Dadan explained that the figure already includes respective usage
positions, including 70% for purchasing raw materials, 20% for SPPG
operational costs, such as staff and employee salaries. Meanwhile, 10%
of the total budget allocated by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) to
SPPG managers is for paying or instalment payments on investment funds
used to build SPPG facilities and infrastructure.

Today, there are approximately 27,000 SPPG that are 100% operational.
“In 2025, we proposed planning to build around 1,540 (SPPG), but only
about 314 were realised. Now, those that have been fully built using
community funds represent an extraordinary investment from the public in
welcoming this government programme. The repayment is as mentioned, 10%
from the allocation,” said Dadan.

Dadan explained that the total budget used for the 27,000 SPPG built
using funds or investments from the community reaches Rp 540 trillion.
Dadan described this budget as a collaboration established between the
government and its people in realising the MBG programme.

“But there is a definite repayment. However, the Rp 6 million
incentive should not be called profit. Because that is purely an
incentive given through government policy to the community contributing
to this programme,” said Dadan.

Dadan stated that the BGN will establish Nutrition Fulfilment Service
Offices (KPPG) consisting of civil servants or ASN with at least rank
III. The main task of the KPPG is to manage, plan, supervise, and report
on community nutrition fulfilment and the technical implementation of
MBG distribution.

“Incidentally, we announce, please to competent and expert ASN in
this field to enter and join the KPPG selection. This is for rank III,
because they will supervise, plan, and report on community nutrition
fulfilment activities in the regions,” said Dadan.
",
