Ismail by<br>\nrelatives who recognized his body on television.<\/p>\n<p>Darwin, 38, a resident of Jl. Jati Pinggir, Petamburan in<br>\nCentral Jakarta, was found dead on Jl. Muara Baru of Cilincing in<br>\nNorth Jakarta Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The Tanah Abang cloth trader was believed to have been the<br>\nvictim of a robbery as his wallet, wristwatch and rings were<br>\nmissing when he was found.<\/p>\n<p>\"There was no wallet, wristwatch and rings like the victim's<br>\nwife told us,\" Chief Sgt. Nuryanto of the Cilincing subprecinct<br>\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Darwin suffered severe stab wounds to his head and chest and<br>\nthere were also signs that he had been beaten.<\/p>\n<p>Darwin's wife and three children went to the hospital's morgue<br>\nto claim his body yesterday. However they declined to speak about<br>\nDarwin's death.<\/p>\n<p>They recognized his body on an ANteve news program on Sunday<br>\nand went to the Cilincing police subprecint on Monday. They then<br>\nwent to the morgue yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Dariono, a relative of Darwin, said that on Sunday, Darwin<br>\nasked to be accompanied to North Jakarta to collect debts from<br>\nsome of his customers.
