In addition to the\nprison term, the prosecution is seeking a fine of 250 million IDR, with\na subsidiary of 90 days of imprisonment. Furthermore, the prosecutor has\ndemanded that Bobby pay restitution amounting to 60,329,415,416 IDR,\nfailing which he must serve an additional two years in prison.<\/p>\n<p>The prosecution stated that the defendants\u2019 actions undermined\ngovernment programmes aimed at establishing a governance system free\nfrom collusion, corruption, and nepotism. Mitigating factors considered\ninclude the defendants\u2019 lack of prior criminal records, their family\nresponsibilities, and their respectful conduct during the trial.\nProsecutors believe Irvian Bobby Mahendro is guilty of violating\nArticles 12(b) and 12(B) in conjunction with Article 18 of the\nAnti-Corruption Law, alongside relevant provisions of the New Criminal\nCode.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, KPK prosecutors indicted the former Deputy Minister of\nManpower, Immanuel Ebenezer Gerungan, also known as Noel, for\norchestrating the extortion of K3 certification processing alongside\nseveral civil servants from the Ministry of Manpower. The prosecution\nalleged that Noel demanded a share of 3 billion IDR. The indictment\nstated that the illegal activities involved the misuse of power\nregarding the issuance and extension of individual Occupational Safety\nand Health (K3) certifications and licences. According to the\nindictment, the defendants coerced applicants to provide a total of\n6,522,360,000 IDR, with the scheme dating back to 2021.<\/p>",
