        "content": "<p>The Governor of North Sumatra, Bobby Nasution, has ensured that the\nFree Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme will not be discontinued, despite\nnumerous cases of food poisoning affecting students. Bobby believes that\nthe issues arising during the implementation of the MBG programme should\nserve as material for evaluation and improvement, rather than a reason\nto stop the programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImprovement, improvement is the keyword,\u201d said Bobby Nasution in\nMedan on Tuesday (8\/9).<\/p>\n<p>According to Bobby, the necessary course of action is to continuously\nrefine the programme. By doing so, there will be no further poisoning\nvictims in the future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat we support is the improvement of the MBG, the improvement of\nits distribution, and the improvement of its mechanism,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<p>Bobby noted that the demand for the MBG programme remains\nsignificant, particularly in several regions that require nutritional\nsupport for school children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause in some areas, there are certainly still those who need the\nMBG, but the distribution and the menu must also be good, without any\nfurther loss of life,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, cases of suspected poisoning after consuming food from\nthe MBG programme occurred in several regions across Indonesia. North\nSumatra was one of the regions reporting such cases.<\/p>\n<p>One Grade XI student at SMK Bersama Berastagi in Karo Regency, North\nSumatra, Febiona Purba (16), was reported to have suffered memory\nimpairment after being poisoned by the Free Nutritious Meal programme at\nher school.<\/p>\n<p>Febiona\u2019s family stated that her condition is worsening. In addition\nto memory issues, Febiona is also reportedly experiencing difficulty\nspeaking.<\/p>",
