        "content": "<p>The National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) has reported that\n1,954 tonnes of aid have been distributed to the victims of the\nearthquake in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlmost all incoming aid has been distributed. The total aid received\nfrom 15 to 30 August 2026 reached 1,953,849 kilograms, or approximately\n1,954 tonnes,\u201d said the Acting Head of the BNPB Disaster Data,\nInformation, and Communication Centre, Berton SP Panjaitan, during a\npress conference in Jakarta on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Berton added that the distribution percentage of logistical aid has\nreached 98.39 per cent, channelled through the central distribution\nposts for the NTT earthquake in Maumere and Labuan Bajo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore than 1,900 tonnes of logistics were sent through various\nroutes. Aid distribution was carried out via Indonesian Air Force air\nroutes (565 tonnes), from the Ready-to-Use Fund (DSP) (1,065 tonnes),\nvia sea routes (1t79 tonnes), and via land or truck routes (145\ntonnes),\u201d Berton stated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe aid was destined for Labuan Bajo and was reported to have\narrived at 08:57 WIB, comprising essential food packages, medicines,\ninstant noodles, mineral water, rice, toiletries, baby kits, clothing\nfor children and adults, as well as stationery,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>BNPB also noted that the number of earthquake evacuees in NTT\ndecreased by 4,142 people from the previous day. As of 30 August 2026,\nat 07:00 WIB, the number of earthquake evacuees in NTT stood at 188,161\npeople.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe largest concentration of evacuees is in Manggarai Regency with\n50,556 people and Nagekeo Regency with 50,574 people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Berton added that other regencies still maintaining high numbers of\nevacuees include East Manggarai, West Manggarai, Ngada, Sikka, and\nEnde.<\/p>",
