        "content": "<p>Jakarta - The Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) of DKI\nJakarta has recorded an increase in the number of teenagers\nrehabilitated due to drug abuse in 2025. \u201cThe number of drug abuse\nvictims among teenagers in Jakarta in 2025 increased by 24.21 percent\ncompared to 2024,\u201d said the Head of BNNP DKI Jakarta, Brigadier General\nof Police Awang Joko Rumitro, during the inauguration speech for the\nSobat Ananda Bersinar programme for high school\/SMK\/MA\/SR students\nacross DKI Jakarta in South Jakarta on Wednesday. He detailed that in\n2024, there were 6,718 clients, with 3.51 percent or 231 individuals in\nthe child category. Meanwhile, in 2025, there were 8,865 clients, based\non data from four BNNP DKI Jakarta rehabilitation institutions and 12\ncommunity-based rehabilitation institutions. \u201cFor 2026, the total\nclients are 1,760, consisting of women, men, and children aged 13 to\nover 18 years,\u201d Awang explained. Additionally, from urine tests and\nscreenings of 19,381 people, 156 students in Jakarta (0.80 percent) had\nbeen exposed to narcotics in 2025. BNNP DKI also noted that the total\nnumber of schools in Jakarta reaches 1,171, comprising SMA, SMK, and MA\ninstitutions. \u201cWith collaboration and collective concern, we hope that\nteenagers can become agents of change in creating a healthy, positive,\nand drug-free environment,\u201d Awang stated. As is known, BNNP DKI Jakarta\ninaugurated participants in its flagship programme, Ananda Bersinar\n(National Anti-Narcotics Action Starting from Drug-Free Children), on\nWednesday. A total of 3,717 participants, consisting of 2,899 students,\n818 teachers, and 833 students from SMA\/SMK\/MA\/SR schools in DKI\nJakarta, were inaugurated in the event. The thousands of participants\nhad previously undergone training conducted on 27-28 April 2026. Through\nthis inauguration, participants are expected to serve as peer educators\nin light education and counselling, agents of change in disseminating\nanti-drug information, the frontline in prevention within school\nenvironments, and part of the school\u2019s anti-drug task force.<\/p>",
