        "content": "<p>National Narcotics Agency (BNN) Chief Komjen Suyudi Ario Seto\noutlined the agency\u2019s achievements in tackling drug cases, emphasising\nthat the BNN is not merely arresting perpetrators but also impoverishing\nthe kingpins.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe also have a spirit to impoverish the kingpins. In the period from\nOctober 2024 to July 2026, BNN RI has seized proceeds from\nnarcotics-related money laundering crimes with a valuation exceeding Rp\n165 billion,\u201d Suyudi said in his address at the International\nAnti-Narcotics Day commemoration in Lido, Bogor, West Java, on Thursday\n(23\/7\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>Suyudi then detailed the eradication achievements for the period\nOctober 2024 to July 2026, with the following data:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><p>12.3 tonnes of narcotics evidence seized<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Rp 16.5 trillion in economic value halted<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>Rp 165 billion in money laundering assets seized<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>48.3 million lives saved.<\/p><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cFor us, these figures are not just statistics. Behind every kilogram\nof narcotics prevented from circulating, there is a family that can be\nsaved, there is a community space that we have managed to protect,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that the BNN had conducted operations in drug-prone areas\nacross 34 provinces. The operations resulted in the arrest of 1,259\nsuspects and the seizure of hundreds of kilograms of evidence, including\n126 kg of crystal methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>Suyudi added that the BNN also seized Rp 1.5 billion in cash from the\noperation, along with precious metals, 64 sharp weapons, and 19 firearms\nfrom various drug-prone locations.<\/p>",
