        "content": "<p>The Head of the Indonesian National Narcotics Agency (BNN), Police\nCommissioner General Suyudi Ario Seto, has revealed that drug\ntrafficking methods are now targeting vape liquids. He stated that some\nvape liquids have been found to contain ketamine, an anaesthetic\ncommonly used for animals.<\/p>\n<p>The statement was made during his speech at the International\nAnti-Narcotics Day (HANI) commemoration in Lido, Bogor, West Java, on\nThursday (23\/7\/2026). He detailed several narcotic substances that have\nbeen mixed into vape liquids.<\/p>\n<p>\"Laboratory tests conducted by BNN on a number of vape liquid samples\ncirculating in the community found the presence of cannabinoids,\nsynthetic methamphetamine, and etomidate,\" Suyudi said.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that etomidate is a substance commonly used as an\nanaesthetic by dentists. \"So this etomidate, if I may explain, is an\nanaesthetic usually used by dentists for anaesthesia,\" he noted.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Suyudi described the presence of ketamine, which is\nessentially an animal anaesthetic. \"There is also something called\nketamine.
