        "content": "<p>PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI is committed to\nsupporting the improvement of public health quality. This was\ndemonstrated through the Healthy Village Free of Stunting programme in\nPangalengan District, Bandung Regency, West Java. The programme targets\nfour villages: Sukamanah, Banjarsari, Wanasuka, and Margamukti. The\nprogramme, part of BNI Berbagi, is implemented in collaboration with the\nPangalengan District Government and the Sukamanah Community Health\nCentre. Through this programme, BNI provides nutritional support and\nhealth education for vulnerable groups, including children at risk of\nstunting, pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency, and adolescent\ngirls. BNI Corporate Secretary Okki Rushartomo stated that the Healthy\nVillage Free of Stunting programme represents the company\u2019s contribution\nto supporting the agenda of improving human resource quality,\nparticularly through public health and nutrition interventions. \u201cThis\nHealthy Village Free of Stunting programme is a manifestation of BNI\u2019s\ncontribution to improving the quality of public health, especially for\ngroups vulnerable to nutritional problems. This programme is part of\nBNI\u2019s commitment to delivering real and sustainable benefits to the\ncommunity,\u201d Okki said. In its implementation, BNI provided Recovery\nSupplementary Feeding Packages to 65 children at risk of stunting for 52\nconsecutive days. Additionally, the company distributed Nutrition\nPackages to 12 pregnant women with chronic energy deficiency for 60\nconsecutive days. The programme also includes providing nutrition and\nblood supplement tablets to 50 adolescent girls as an early stunting\nprevention measure. The entire series of interventions will be carried\nout over three months with periodic assistance and monitoring to ensure\nthe programme\u2019s effectiveness. Okki explained that stunting management\nis a key priority in national development. According to him, stunting\nprevention must be undertaken early because the condition can hinder\nchild growth and development and have long-term impacts on the quality\nof human resources. Bandung Regency was chosen as the programme location\nbecause it still requires strengthened stunting prevention efforts.\nBased on the 2024 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey data, the\nstunting prevalence in Bandung Regency was recorded at 24.1 percent,\nhigher than the West Java provincial average. Beyond nutritional\nfulfilment, the Healthy Village Free of Stunting programme is also\ndirected at increasing community knowledge about family health,\nstrengthening the role of integrated health posts, and encouraging the\ncreation of an environment that optimally supports child growth and\ndevelopment. BNI believes that successful stunting management requires\ncross-sector collaboration involving the government, health workers,\nbusinesses, and the community. Therefore, this programme is designed\nwith an integrated approach through health education, family assistance,\nand monitoring of beneficiaries\u2019 conditions. \u201cSynergy between the\nbusiness sector, government, health workers, and the community is a key\nelement in creating a healthy and high-quality generation.
