        "content": "<p>JAKARTA - PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has conveyed an\napology to the Catholic community in Indonesia, particularly to the\ncongregation of Aek Nabara Parish in Rantauprapat, North Sumatra.<\/p>\n<p>The apology was issued following the completion of the return of the\ncongregation\u2019s funds. The Credit Union of Aek Nabara Parish\u2019s funds\namounting to Rp 28 billion have been fully returned.<\/p>\n<p>BNI\u2019s Director of Human Capital and Compliance, Mudani Herlambang,\ndelivered the apology during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday\n(22\/4\/2026).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBNI extends its apologies to Catholics throughout Indonesia,\nespecially the congregation of the Aek Nabara Parish Credit Union and\nthe public for the discomfort experienced during this period,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Mudani stated that he understands the impact felt by the\ncongregation. He hopes that this fund return will help maintain public\ntrust in financial institutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith the completion of this fund return, we hope that public trust\ncan continue to be upheld.
