        "content": "<p>BNI rating affirmed<\/p>\n<p>JAKARTA (JP): The U.S.-based rating agency Standard and Poor's<br>\naffirmed on Tuesday its \"Triple C-\" long-term foreign currency<br>\nrating on publicly listed Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) and the<br>\nbanks US$145 million notes.<\/p>\n<p>The rating agency said the lower foreign currency rating for<br>\nIndonesia reflects the country's rescheduling of a specific U.S.-<br>\ndollar denominated debt. The rating does not indicate that the<br>\noverall sovereign risk has deteriorated to a degree that it<br>\nimpinges upon the ability of BNI to fulfill the bank's own<br>\nforeign currency debt obligation.<\/p>\n<p>The rating agency on Tuesday lowered the foreign currency<br>\nrating to \"Selective Default\" from \"Triple C+\".<\/p>\n<p>The outlook for BNI ratings remains negative, the agency said.<\/p>",
