The public in certain areas is specifically\nasked to increase vigilance against the potential for heavy to very\nheavy rainfall.<\/p>\n<p>BMKG forecaster Ina Indah stated that weather conditions in Sumatra\nare dominated by the potential for light rain, as expected in Medan,\nPekanbaru, Padang, Tanjung Pinang, Bengkulu, and Palembang. Meanwhile,\nthe areas of Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, and Bandar Lampung are forecast to\nexperience thick cloudy conditions.<\/p>\n<p>For Java Island, Jakarta, along with Serang and Semarang, is\npredicted to be covered in thick clouds.
