BMKG forecaster Diah stated that\ncloudy to thick cloudy weather is likely to occur in the cities of Banda\nAceh, Pekanbaru, Padang, Bengkulu, Palembang, Bandar Lampung, Serang,\nJakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Pontianak, Palangkaraya, and Banjarmasin.\nSimilar conditions are also expected in Kupang, Makassar, Sorong,\nManokwari, Jayapura, and Merauke. Diah also noted the potential for rain\naccompanied by lightning in Tanjung Selor, and light rain in several\ncities such as Medan, Tanjung Pinang, Pangkal Pinang, Samarinda,\nDenpasar, Mataram, Kendari, Mamuju, Palu, Ambon, and Jayawijaya.\nMeanwhile, partly cloudy conditions are forecast for Surabaya, with hazy\nconditions possible in Jambi and Yogyakarta.
