        "content": "<p>Jakarta \u2014 Indonesia\u2019s Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency\n(BMKG) has cautioned the public to remain vigilant regarding potential\nrainfall of varying intensities across several regions of Indonesia on\nTuesday.<\/p>\n<p>BMKG forecaster Adelia, speaking during a weather briefing in Jakarta\non Tuesday, indicated that western Indonesia is expected to be dominated\nby light rain to heavy cloud cover, whilst several cities face the risk\nof thunderstorms.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor western Indonesia, there is potential for thunderstorms in the\nPalembang region,\u201d Adelia stated.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Adelia noted that light rainfall is forecast across the\nmajority of Sumatran regions. She also predicted cloudy to heavily\novercast conditions in several cities across Sumatra and Java including\nBanda Aceh, Tanjung Pinang, Jakarta, Bandung, and Yogyakarta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThen there is potential for light rain in Serang, Semarang, and\nSurabaya,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, in Kalimantan, BMKG warned of potential rainfall with\nhigher intensity in several areas such as Pontianak and Banjarmasin,\nextending to moderate rain in Palangkaraya.<\/p>\n<p>In the Bali and Nusa Tenggara region, weather conditions are forecast\nto be relatively milder with potential light to moderate rainfall such\nas in Denpasar and Mataram.<\/p>\n<p>For Sulawesi, moderate rainfall is forecast in several cities. \u201cFor\neastern Indonesia, there is potential for moderate rain in Mamuju and\nKendari,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, light rainfall is expected across most other Sulawesi\nregions.<\/p>\n<p>In Maluku and Papua, BMKG also warned of potential light to moderate\nrainfall. \u201cThere is potential for moderate rain in Kupang, Nabire, and\nMerauke, as well as potential heavy cloud cover in Ternate,\u201d she\nstated.<\/p>",
