        "content": "<p>The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts\nthat rain will sweep across several regions in Indonesia on Friday,\ncaused by the presence of cyclonic circulation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCyclonic circulation is expected to form in the South China Sea.\nThis system may increase the potential for rain around northern to\ncentral Sumatra, the northern Natuna Sea, and northern Kalimantan,\u201d said\nBMKG Forecaster Alya Sausan in a broadcast monitored from Jakarta on\nFriday.<\/p>\n<p>Potential increases in rainfall are also expected from West Java to\nBanten, central Papua, and the waters north of Papua. Light rain is\npredicted to occur in Medan, Pekanbaru, Padang, Serang, Bandung,\nSemarang, Tanjung Selor, and Samarinda.<\/p>\n<p>Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya are expected to be cloudy to\nheavily overcast. There is also the potential for hazy air in Banda\nAceh, Tanjung Pinang, Jambi, Bengkulu, Palembang, Pangkal Pinang,\nPontianak, and Banjarmasin, as well as the potential for smoke or fog in\nPalangkaraya.<\/p>\n<p>For the eastern part of Indonesia, there is a warning for potential\nlight rain in Palu, Mamuju, Manokwari, Nabire, and Jayapura.<\/p>\n<p>Partly cloudy to heavily overcast conditions are expected in Manado,\nMakassar, Jayawijaya, Kupang, Gorontalo, Kendari, Ternate, Ambon,\nSorong, and Merauke.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to rain, an increase in surface wind speeds should be\nanticipated in Bali, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi, North\nSulawesi, and South Papua.<\/p>\n<p>These conditions may increase sea wave heights in the surrounding\nwaters.<\/p>\n<p>The public is advised to continue monitoring weather forecast\ndevelopments through official BMKG information channels.<\/p>",
