BMKG\nforecaster Yuyun, speaking on a YouTube channel monitored from Jakarta,\nsaid that beginning with the Sumatra region, the cities of Banda Aceh,\nPangkal Pinang and Jambi are forecast to be overcast, while Medan,\nPekanbaru, Bengkulu, Palembang and Jakarta have the potential to be hit\nby light rain. \u201cBandar Lampung is forecast to experience smoke or fog,\nwhile Padang has the potential for thunderous rain. Also be alert for\nthunderous rain that may strike Tanjung Pinang,\u201d she said. Moving to\nJava, the weather in Bandung is forecast to be cloudy, while Serang will\nbe overcast. The Semarang and Surabaya areas are forecast to receive\nlight rain, while Yogyakarta is expected to be partly cloudy.
