The\nMeteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) says the potential\nfor moderate to heavy rainfall remains possible across several southern\nparts of Central Java through the end of May 2026, even as some areas\nhave begun the dry season. Teguh Wardoyo, head of the Data and\nInformation Dissemination Service Working Group at BMKG\u2019s Tunggul Wulung\nCilacap Meteorological Station in Cilacap, said rainfall with\nintensities exceeding 50 millimetres per day was still recorded at\nseveral rainfall observation posts in Banyumas on 21\u201322 May 2026.
