        "content": "<p>The Barisan Muda Penegak Amanat Nasional (BM PAN) has reported\nseveral social media accounts to Polda Metro Jaya. These accounts were\nreported following the posting of hoax narratives related to\nCoordinating Minister for Food Affairs Zulkifli Hasan.<\/p>\n<p>In the report, BM PAN Honour Council Secretary Iswari Muktar\nquestioned an image and video with the narrative \u2018The people\u2019s only duty\nis to pay taxes! They should not interfere in government affairs!\u2019,\nwhich he stated is 100 per cent hoax.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the narrative is a form of manipulation aimed at\ndiscrediting Zulkifli Hasan, both as PAN General Chairman and as\nCoordinating Minister for Food, in the eyes of the public.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a form of our seriousness in fighting slander and safeguarding\nthe honour of our leadership, today, Tuesday (21\/4\/2026), BM PAN through\nthe Advocacy Team has officially taken legal action by reporting the\naccounts spreading disinformation to the police for alleged violations\nof the ITE Law and defamation,\u201d said Iswari Muktar in a statement to\nreporters on Tuesday (21\/4).<\/p>\n<p>The BM PAN report is registered under number\nLP\/B\/2825\/IV\/2026\/SPKT\/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated 21 April 2026. Iswari, as\nthe complainant accompanied by legal adviser M Andrean Saefudin,\nreported the social media accounts for alleged defamation through\nITE.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, BM PAN Deputy General Chairman Munir Sara\nemphasised that his side will combat narratives that have the potential\nto divide the nation. He views the practice of digital manipulation\nthrough provocative content as a setback in democracy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not allow public space to be filled with narratives that\ndivide the nation,\u201d said Munir.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, another Deputy General Chairman, Ahmad Qiamel Alofi,\nstated that Zulkifli Hasan has consistently positioned the people as the\nhighest sovereign holders.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis teachings to us in BM PAN are for the government to always be\nopen to criticism and suggestions from the public. The narrative\naccusing him of being \u2018anti-people\u2019 is completely contrary to the facts\nof his political struggle so far,\u201d said Alofi.<\/p>\n<p>BM PAN has also instructed all cadres at various levels to close\nranks, monitor the ongoing legal process, and continue campaigning for\ndigital literacy and healthy internet use to maintain national\nconduciveness.<\/p>",
