        "content": "<p>Blind masseurs see injustice<\/p>\n<p>BANDAR LAMPUNG, Lampung: Leaders of the local chapter of<br>\nPertuni, an association for the blind, want to open their own<br>\ntraditional massage parlors but say they do not have the<br>\nnecessary money.<\/p>\n<p>Chairman Rusman Effendi told Antara that its 654 members,<br>\nwhose main skill is giving massages, still have to \"stroll<br>\naround\" to find clients. \"We have been wanting our own parlors<br>\nfor so long,\" he said Saturday. \"We can't have them because we<br>\ndon't have the money\".<\/p>\n<p>The Lampung government provides the association with a monthly<br>\ndonation of Rp 30,000 (US$13.00), a fifth of the sum needed to<br>\nconduct its normal activities, Rusman said.<\/p>\n<p>\"It's really regrettable that more 'modern' parlors, which can<br>\nbe misused (for prostitution) are being opened, rather than<br>\nlegitimate massage parlors,\" he said.
