PT Bio Farma (Persero) has once again achieved success by securing
two national awards: the Best Corporate Media Impact 2026 at the
Indonesia Corporate Media Awards 2026, and the Best Corporate Social
Responsibility Award 2026 at the Indonesia CSR Awards 2026, hosted by
Warta Ekonomi in Jakarta on Wednesday (4/6). The awards recognise Bio
Farma’s commitment to building transparent, accountable, and positively
impactful public communication, as well as implementing sustainable
Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programmes that deliver
tangible benefits to the community. Usman Kansong, Director General of
Public Information and Communication at the Ministry of Communication
and Informatics for the 2021–2024 period, stated that branding,
reputation, and public trust are three interconnected elements that form
an important foundation for business continuity in the digital era.
‘Branding shapes reputation, and reputation ultimately determines the
level of public trust. Trust can only be built when what a company
communicates aligns with what it does,’ Usman said. Meanwhile, Deputy
for Pollution and Environmental Damage Control, Rasio Ridho Sani,
stressed the importance of companies balancing the People, Planet, and
Profit aspects in conducting sustainable business activities. ‘For
business continuity, it is important for companies not to focus solely
on profit. Companies must also pay attention to the people aspect,
i.e. those involved such as employees and the surrounding community, as
well as the planet aspect which can be seen from environmental
performance parameters used in PROPER assessments,’ Rasio stated. Bio
Farma Corporate Secretary Bambang Heriyanto, who received the Best
Corporate Media Impact 2026 award, said this recognition motivates Bio
Farma to keep strengthening the quality of corporate communication in an
open, responsible, and public-trust-oriented manner. ‘This award
motivates Bio Farma to continuously improve the quality of corporate
communication. As a life science company playing a role in supporting
national and global health resilience, Bio Farma is committed to
building credible, transparent public communication aligned with the
company’s real contributions to society,’ Bambang said. On the same
occasion, Bio Farma’s Head of Social Responsibility, HSE, Asset and
General Management Division, Hidayat Setiadji, who received the Best
Corporate Social Responsibility Award 2026, stated that the award
further strengthens the company’s spirit in implementing sustainability
principles. ‘This award complements the 10th PROPER Emas and Green
Leadership achievements earned by Bio Farma earlier this year. We
continue to strengthen ESG implementation in TJSL programmes by
upholding the principles of People, Planet, and Profit to create a
sustainable impact for society and the environment,’ Hidayat explained.
The Indonesia Corporate Media Awards 2026 carried the theme ‘Amplifying
Brand Impact Through Measurable Media Presence’, appreciating companies
deemed successful in making public communication a strategic instrument
for building reputation and stakeholder trust. Meanwhile, the Indonesia
CSR Awards 2026 recognised companies that have successfully delivered
innovative, measurable social and environmental responsibility
programmes with positive community impact. These two awards further
strengthen Bio Farma’s position as part of the Danantara ecosystem,
consistently delivering innovation in the life science sector, running a
sustainable business, and safeguarding public trust through performance,
social contribution, and credible communication.
",
