Victims of the Binomo robot trading investment fraud have highlighted\nissues regarding the distribution of compensation following the\nconditional release of Indra Kesuma, also known as Indra Kenz.<\/p>\n
Lawyer for the victims, Irsan Gusfriandal, stated that while\ncompensation has indeed been distributed from the seized assets\nbelonging to Indra Kenz, the process remains problematic. He noted that\nthe distribution carried out by the victims\u2019 association has not been\nexecuted correctly in proportion to the actual losses suffered by the\nvictims.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is still problematic to this day regarding the distribution\ncarried out by the association,\u201d he told reporters on Saturday\n(26\/9).<\/p>\n
He further mentioned that the issues regarding the victims\u2019\ncompensation have been reported by his party to the Indonesian National\nPolice\u2019s Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim Polri). \u201cWe have\nreported the matter to Bareskrim Polri under Police Report Number:\nSTTL\/184\/IV\/2025\/Bareskrim, dated 22 April 2025,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, Irsan expressed hope that following his\nconditional release, Indra will not repeat his actions which have harmed\nmany people. \u201cIf he has indeed been granted conditional release, we hope\nthat the events of yesterday will not recur,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
The Head of the Public Communication Working Group and Spokesperson\nfor the Directorate General of Corrections (Ditjenpas), Budi Waskito,\npreviously confirmed that Indra Kenz has been granted conditional\nrelease. \u201cOn Thursday, 24 September 2026, at 11:00, conditional release\nwas implemented for Indra Kusuma, or Indra Kenz. He is under the\nsupervision of Bapas Bogor,\u201d Budi stated when confirmed.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Indra Kenz has issued an apology to all victims who\nsuffered losses due to his actions. In a post on his Instagram account,\nIndra Kenz admitted that his past actions were wrong and stated he would\nnot seek justification for them.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo anyone who has suffered because of my actions, I sincerely\napologise. I never intended to hurt anyone, and at that time, I did not\nfully understand the law or consider the consequences of my actions,\u201d he\nwas quoted as saying on Saturday (26\/9).<\/p>\n
\u201cI was wrong, it was my own mistake, and I take full responsibility\nfor the problems caused,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n
In 2022, the panel of judges sentenced Indra Kenz to 10 years in\nprison and a fine of Rp5 billion for the Binomo fraudulent investment\ncase. He was found legally and convincingly guilty of spreading fake\nnews and money laundering.<\/p>\n
