"summary": "Bank Indonesia has welcomed the US$1.27 billion trade surplus recorded in February 2026, viewing it as a positive factor in bolstering the country's external economic resilience. This marks an improvement from January's US$0.95 billion surplus, driven by strong non-oil and gas exports of US$21.09 billion, particularly in natural resource-based products and manufactures destined for key markets like China, the US, and India. BI emphasised ongoing policy synergies with the government to enhance external stability and sustainable national economic growth.",
