        "content": "<p>Cirebon (ANTARA) - The Representative Office of Bank Indonesia (KPw\nBI) in Cirebon, West Java, states that the economy in the Cirebon,\nIndramayu, Majalengka, and Kuningan region (Ciayumajakuning) experienced\ngrowth of 5.09 percent (year-on-year\/yoy) in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat figure is an increase compared to 2024, which was recorded at\n4.34 percent (yoy),\u201d said the Head of KPw BI Cirebon, Wihujeng Ayu\nRengganis, in Cirebon on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>She mentioned that Ciayumajakuning\u2019s contribution to West Java\u2019s\neconomy reaches 10.24 percent, supported by business sectors such as\nmanufacturing, agriculture, wholesale and retail trade, transportation\nand warehousing, as well as construction.<\/p>\n<p>Based on regional gross domestic product (PDRB) details, Indramayu\nRegency is the largest contributor with 3.73 percent.<\/p>\n<p>From the economic indicators perspective, Wihujeng said, investment\ngrowth in Ciayumajakuning in 2025 was recorded at 5.27 percent\n(yoy).<\/p>\n<p>She also conveyed that the poverty rate in the region is at 9.02\npercent, while the open unemployment rate (TPT) is 6.10 percent.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, she stated that consumer optimism, particularly in\nCirebon City, continues to rise, as reflected in the Consumer Confidence\nIndex (IKK) of 145.8 in March 2026.<\/p>",
