BI Deputy Governor Filianingsih Hendarta stated that this\nachievement stemmed from inbound transactions totalling Rp1.85 trillion\nand outbound transactions of approximately Rp330 billion. \u201cIf we look at\nthe second quarter of 2026, cross-border QRIS transactions on a net\ninbound basis amounted to Rp1.52 trillion. This comes from an inbound\ntransaction nominal of Rp1.85 trillion and outbound of around Rp330\nbillion,\u201d said Filianingsih. According to Filianingsih, BI is committed\nto continuing to expand cross-border payment connectivity with several\ncountries. Currently, BI is still exploring the use of cross-border QR\ncodes with Saudi Arabia, India, and Hong Kong. However, she noted that\nimplementation must consider the readiness of each respective country,\nincluding regulatory readiness, infrastructure, industry preparedness,\nand coordination with relevant authorities.<\/p>",
