        "content": "<p>Sudaryono made the statement while reviewing the implementation of\nthe MBG Program at public elementary school SDN Bantarjati 09 in Bogor\nCity, West Java, on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the BGN will prepare additional modules to be\ndelivered through the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) at\nschools to strengthen the development of healthy lifestyle habits among\nchildren.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn addition to teaching etiquette such as washing hands and praying\nbefore meals, we will also explain the nutritional content and why\neating vegetables is important. We will convey that to the children as\nwell,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He noted that habits formed during childhood will influence a\nperson\u2019s eating patterns in adulthood, making nutrition education an\nimportant part of the success of the MBG Program.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf our children enjoy vegetables from an early age, they will\ncontinue to enjoy vegetables. That is why this is not a free tasty meal\nbased on preferences, but a free nutritious meal that is made to be\ntasty and served in appropriate portions,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Sudaryono added that the BGN will continue to evaluate the MBG\nimplementation through direct inspections of meal preparation kitchens.\nThe evaluations cover menu quality, meal presentation, and students\u2019\nacceptance of the meals provided.<\/p>\n<p>At present, he said, around 27 thousand MBG kitchens are operating in\nvarious regions across Indonesia, with the majority implementing the\nprogram in accordance with established standards. The BGN will continue\nto provide guidance to service providers while strengthening\ncoordination with regional governments, health offices, and education\noffices.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Head of SDN Bantarjati 09 Bogor City Sugiartini said the\nMBG Program has changed students\u2019 eating habits at the school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe children are very enthusiastic. Those who usually skipped\nbreakfast are now having breakfast, and those who did not like\nvegetables now enjoy them.
