The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives (DPR), Sufmi Dasco\nAhmad, stated that he has received information regarding a search\nconducted by prosecutors at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) office.\nHowever, he has not yet obtained further details regarding the\npossibility of any arrests during the operation. \u201cWhatever the case, we\nleave it to the law enforcement agencies, which certainly have their own\nconsiderations,\u201d Dasco said at the DPR\/MPR Complex on Wednesday, 3 June\n2026.<\/p>\n
The search was carried out by investigators from the Attorney\nGeneral\u2019s Office\u2019s Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes\n(Jampidsus). Several officers were seen at the BGN office in the Kebon\nSirih area, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday morning. A security guard at\nthe BGN office reported that the investigative team arrived around 02:00\nWIB using four vehicles. He also noted that TNI personnel were present\nto provide security during the process. \u201cSince 2 am, there have been\nfour prosecution vehicles,\u201d said the guard, who requested anonymity.<\/p>\n
The Acting Head of the Attorney General\u2019s Office Centre for Legal\nInformation, Mochamad Jeffry, confirmed the search at the BGN office. He\nstated that the search was conducted by investigators from the Junior\nAttorney General for Special Crimes. However, Jeffry declined to provide\ndetailed information regarding the search, stating, \u201cAn official release\nwill be issued later.\u201d<\/p>\n
The search has drawn significant attention as it occurred just one\nday after President Prabowo implemented a leadership change at the BGN.\nThe Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, previously announced the\nappointment of Nanik Sudaryante Deyang as the Head of the BGN, replacing\nDadan Hindayana. Prior to this promotion, Nanik served as the Deputy\nHead of the BGN.
