        "content": "<p>Bintan (ANTARA) - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has reactivated\nthe Seri Kuala Lobam Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) in Bintan\nRegency, Riau Islands (Kepri), after it was temporarily closed due to\ndiscrepancies in the presentation of Free Nutritious Meals (MBG)\nmenus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reactivation was carried out after a thorough evaluation and\nverification process in accordance with applicable regulations,\u201d said\nRony Kartika, Head of the Bintan Regency MBG Task Force, in Bintan on\nFriday.<\/p>\n<p>Rony, who is also the Secretary of Bintan Regency, stated that the\nSPPG Seri Kuala Lobam has resumed operations effective 16 March 2026\nbased on a decree from BGN.<\/p>\n<p>According to the letter received from BGN, Rony said, the SPPG has\nbeen declared to meet several main requirements, including improvements\nto the food processing procedures in line with MBG standards as well as\nenhancements to infrastructure and supporting facilities.<\/p>\n<p>Although it has resumed operations, Rony emphasised that supervision\nand monitoring of the SPPG Seri Kuala Lobam will be carried out strictly\nto ensure that nutrition fulfilment services run according to the\nstandards set by BGN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need direct community supervision to ensure the MBG Programme\nruns well, not just in one SPPG, but in all SPPGs in Bintan,\u201d he\nsaid.<\/p>\n<p>Rony added that the SPPG Seri Kuala Lobam, which partners with\nYayasan Gawe Rencage Pasundan, distributes MBG to 2,870 students in 20\nschools from early childhood education-kindergarten participants to\nelementary, junior high, and senior high school students, including 252\npregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers in the Seri Kuala\nLobam Subdistrict area.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn total, there are 16 SPPGs that have been operational in the\nBintan area to date,\u201d Rony said.<\/p>",
