        "content": "<p>Malang, East Java (ANTARA) - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN)\nemphasises that every new Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) set\nto operate must conduct service trials and food handler training.<\/p>\n<p>Harjito, Director of Regional Monitoring and Supervision (Tauwas)\nRegion I of BGN, stated this after monitoring SPPG in Malang City, East\nJava, on Thursday, noting that pre-operational preparation stages aim to\nanticipate various challenges in implementing the Free Nutritious Meals\n(MBG) programme.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe require SPPG to conduct trials before running (operating) and to\ncarry out food handler training; all of this is to avoid unwanted\nincidents,\u201d said Harjito.<\/p>\n<p>He stated that this is an absolute requirement in carrying out\nservice activities at all SPPG.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf not, they must prepare a tanker truck every day to dispose of the\nwaste,\u201d Harjito added.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, he mentioned that the number of SPPG units could\ncontinue to increase to match the needs of beneficiaries, particularly\nfrom the group of pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers\n(3B).<\/p>\n<p>Based on information from the Malang City Health Office (Dinkes), the\nnumber of pregnant women in the area is around 12,000.
