        "content": "<p>Nabire (ANTARA) - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN), through its\nNutrition Fulfilment Service Units (SPPG) in Nabire Regency, served a\nspecial beef rendang menu to students benefiting from the Free\nNutritious Meals (MBG) programme in celebration of National Children\u2019s\nDay 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Marsel Asyrem, BGN\u2019s Regional Coordinator for Nabire, said on Friday\nthat the beef rendang was served simultaneously by all SPPG units across\nthe Nabire area as a form of care for children during the National\nChildren\u2019s Day commemoration.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn this National Children\u2019s Day, we want children to feel special.\nThis beef rendang is a symbol of our attention so that the children of\nNabire can grow up healthy, strong and happy,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Beef rendang was chosen as the special menu because of its\nnutritional content and because it is one of the dishes most favoured by\nchildren.<\/p>\n<p>He also expressed appreciation for the hard work of the partners,\nSPPG heads and all staff who prepared and distributed the menu to the\nbeneficiary students.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, fulfilling children\u2019s nutritional needs is an\nessential part of building a healthy and high-quality future generation\nfor Central Papua.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, MBG beneficiaries in Nabire comprise 28,113 students as\nwell as 3,889 members of the 3B group, consisting of pregnant women,\nbreastfeeding mothers and toddlers.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to serving the special menu through the MBG programme,\nBGN Nabire, together with a number of partners and SPPG heads, also\nvisited children receiving treatment at Nabire Regional General\nHospital.<\/p>\n<p>During the visit, the delegation presented hampers and entertained\nthe sick children as an expression of care in conjunction with National\nChildren\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>The activity is hoped to boost the spirits of children undergoing\ntreatment while strengthening the shared commitment to supporting\nchildren\u2019s growth, development and health.<\/p>",
