        "content": "<p>JAKARTA \u2014 The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has fired the Head of\nthe Nutrition Service Provision Unit (SPPG) in Tanjung Kesuma, East\nLampung Regency, who is suspected of involvement in a case of child\nsexual abuse.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs soon as we received the report and confirmed that the perpetrator\nhad been secured by police, BGN immediately decided to terminate the\nemployee from his post as Head of SPPG,\u201d said BGN Deputy Head Nanik S.\nDeyang in a press briefing on Friday (6 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>BGN emphasised that it does not tolerate any form of violence or\ncrime against children, especially by its staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe do not tolerate actions that violate the law and injure human\nvalues,\u201d Nanik said.<\/p>\n<p>BGN pledged to fully support the legal process by the authorities so\nthat the case could be processed transparently and in accordance with\napplicable regulations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the case will be processed comprehensively to deliver\njustice for the victim and to serve as a serious lesson for all\nparties,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Nanik said that BGN would conduct an internal evaluation\nof the recruitment and HR oversight mechanisms involved in operations of\nthe SPPG in various regions.<\/p>\n<p>She also confirmed that MBG programme services in East Lampung would\ncontinue to operate normally following the appointment of a replacement\nto the Head of SPPG.<\/p>\n<p>Purbolinggo Police Chief AKP Irwan Susanto said the perpetrator,\nidentified as DD (29), had been detained at the local police\nstation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, he admitted to working as the Head of SPPG. The perpetrator has\nbeen detained after being arrested last Tuesday,\u201d Irwan said when\ncontacted on Thursday (5 March 2026).<\/p>\n<p>Irwan said the victim was taken to a field area by the perpetrator\nand then sexually assaulted.<\/p>\n<p>The victim was found by residents in a state of severe trauma.<\/p>",
